  2. Choose location: Place on a level, solid floor near a grounded electrical outlet and water line (for dispenser).
  3. Clearances: Allow at least 2 inches at back and top, and 1 inch on each side for proper air circulation.
  4. Connect water line: For ice/water dispenser, connect to a cold water line with a 1/4" copper supply line.
  5. Level the refrigerator: Adjust the front leveling legs so the refrigerator is stable and doors close easily.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move and install. Ensure water connection is tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the refrigerator and allow it to cool before adding food.

  1. Initial cooling: After installation, plug in the unit. It may take up to 24 hours to reach optimal temperatures.
  2. Set temperatures: Use the control panel to set the refrigerator to 37°F (3°C) and the freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
  3. Dispenser setup: Flush the water system by dispensing water for 3-5 minutes to clear air and impurities.
  4. Ice maker: Ensure the ice maker arm is in the down (ON) position. The first batch of ice may take several hours.
  5. Interior organization: Adjust shelves and bins to suit your storage needs before loading food.

CAUTION! Do not overload the refrigerator. Allow space between items for air to circulate.
