  2. Clearances: Allow at least 2 inches at back and top, 1 inch at sides for proper airflow.
  3. Connect water line: For ice maker and water dispenser, connect to a cold water line with a shut-off valve.
  4. Level the refrigerator: Adjust the front leveling legs to ensure doors close properly.
  5. Plug into a dedicated 115V, 60Hz grounded outlet.

WARNING! Do not install near a heat source. Ensure water line connection is tight to prevent leaks. Use two people for moving.

First-Time Setup

After installation, allow refrigerator to stabilize before adding food.

  1. Initial power on: Plug in the refrigerator. The interior lights and display panel should illuminate.
  2. Set temperature: Default is 37°F for fridge, 0°F for freezer. Adjust using the control panel.
  3. Enable InstaView: The feature is on by default. Knock twice on the Door-in-Door panel to activate.
  4. Start ice maker: Flush the water system by dispensing water for 3 minutes. Discard first batch of ice.
  5. Connect to LG ThinQ: Download the app and follow in-app instructions to connect to Wi-Fi.
