Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level floor.

  1. Remove packaging: Take off all tape, foam, and protective film.
  2. Position refrigerator: Allow at least 2 inches of clearance on sides and back for ventilation.
  3. Level the unit: Adjust front leveling legs to ensure doors close properly.
  4. Connect water line: For ice/water dispenser (see Connecting Water Line section).
  5. Plug into dedicated 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move. Ensure floor can support weight.

First-Time Setup

Plug in refrigerator; allow 24 hours for cooling.

  1. Set temperature: Press TEMP buttons to set fridge to 37°F and freezer to 0°F (default).
  2. Enable ice maker: Lift wire signal arm to ON position.
  3. Run first ice cycle: Discard first batch of ice (about 24 hours).

Filter Reset: Reset after changing water filter. SmartThinQ App: Remote control, diagnostics, energy monitoring, alerts.

Connecting Water Line

Required for ice maker and water dispenser.

  1. Turn off main water supply.
  2. Connect 1/4" copper or plastic water line to cold water pipe.
  3. Run line to refrigerator location (max 20 ft for 1/4" line).
  4. Connect to refrigerator inlet valve at back (typically bottom left).
  5. Turn on water and check for leaks.
  6. Flush line by dispensing water for 3 minutes.

Tip: Use an approved water line kit and shut-off valve. Ensure connections are tight.

Using the Dispenser

Provides chilled water and ice.

  1. Water: Press glass against water paddle; release to stop.
  2. Ice: Press glass against ice paddle; select cubed or crushed via button.
  3. Dispenser Lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to disable (prevents accidental activation).
  4. Filter Indicator: Flashes when filter needs replacement (approx. 6 months).

WARNING! Do not use with containers that are not sturdy. Keep children away from dispenser.

Smart Features

SmartThinQ App: Monitor and control remotely, receive alerts, run diagnostics. Smart Diagnosis™: Hold phone near control panel to receive diagnostic code for service.
