Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location and clearances.

Remove packaging: Take off all tape, foam, and cardboard. Keep door hinge cover for installation.
Position refrigerator: Place on a level floor with at least 2 inches of clearance at back and sides for ventilation.
Connect water line: For ice/water dispenser, connect to cold water supply with 1/4" copper tubing or LG-approved water line kit.
Plug into dedicated outlet: Use a 115V, 15A grounded electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
Allow stabilization: Let refrigerator stand upright for 2 hours before turning on to allow compressor oil to settle.

First-Time Setup

After installation, follow these steps to prepare for use.
