Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location and clearances.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tape.
  2. Position refrigerator: Allow at least 2 inches of clearance at back and sides for ventilation. Ensure floor is level.
  3. Connect water line (for dispenser): Use a 1/4" copper water supply line. Shut off main water supply before connecting.
  4. Plug into a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15- or 20-amp grounded outlet.
  5. Let refrigerator stand upright for at least 2 hours before powering on.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move it. Do not install near a heat source.

First-Time Setup

After installation, prepare the refrigerator for use.

  1. Power on: Plug in the refrigerator. The interior lights and control panel should illuminate.
  2. Set temperature: Default is 37°F for fridge and 0°F for freezer. Adjust using the control panel if needed.
  3. Dispenser setup: Flush the water system by dispensing water for 3-5 minutes into a container to clear air and impurities.
  4. Ice maker: Allow 24 hours for the first batch of ice to be produced.
  5. Load food: Avoid overloading. Allow space for air circulation.

CAUTION! Do not use the dispenser until the water system is flushed to prevent damage.

Connecting Water Supply

Required for ice maker and water dispenser operation.

  1. Turn off main water supply.
  2. Connect a 1/4" OD copper water line to the cold water line shut-off valve.
  3. Route the water line to the refrigerator connection valve at the bottom rear.
  4. Connect the water line to the refrigerator inlet valve and tighten.
  5. Turn on water supply and check for leaks at all connections.
  6. Flush the system at the dispenser.

Tip: Use an approved water line kit. Do not use plastic or PVC lines.

Using the Ice & Water Dispenser

Dispenser is located on the exterior of the refrigerator door.

  1. Select Ice Type: Press the "ICE TYPE" button to choose between cubed or crushed ice.
  2. Dispense Ice: Press a glass against the ice dispenser lever.
  3. Dispense Water: Press a glass against the water dispenser lever.
  4. Child Lock: Press and hold the "LOCK" button for 3 seconds to disable the dispenser panel.
  5. Replace Filter: When the "FILTER" light illuminates, replace the LT1000P water filter.

WARNING! Do not use thin or delicate glassware against the dispenser lever to avoid breakage.

Food Storage Features
