Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location and clearances.

  1. Choose location: Place on a level, solid floor near a water line and grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Clearances: Allow at least 2 inches at back and sides, 1 inch at top for ventilation.
  3. Level the refrigerator: Adjust the leveling legs at the front to ensure doors close properly.
  4. Connect water line: Follow instructions in section 7.
  5. Plug into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move and install. Ensure water line connections are tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the refrigerator; allow 24 hours for cooling before adding food.

  1. Set temperature: Default is 37°F for fridge, 0°F for freezer. Adjust using control panel.
  2. Install water filter: Remove cap, insert new filter, run water to purge air.
  3. Enable ice maker: Lift the wire signal arm to the "ON" (up) position.
  4. Connect to SmartThinQ®: Download app, follow prompts to connect to Wi-Fi.

CAUTION! Do not overload shelves. Allow space between items for air circulation.

Controls and Settings

Access controls via the external dispenser control panel and SmartThinQ® app.

Control Panel: Power Freeze, Power Cool, Ice Type Selector (Crushed/Cubed), Lock, Filter Reset, Temperature Settings.

Temperature Settings: Fridge (34°F - 46°F), Freezer (-6°F - 8°F), Convertible Drawer (Meat, Wine, Snacks). Special Modes: Power Freeze (fast freeze for 3 hours), Power Cool (rapid cooling for 2 hours). Lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to disable dispenser and controls. Filter Reset: Press and hold FILTER RESET for 3 seconds after replacing filter.

Connecting Water Line

Required for ice maker and water dispenser. Use a 1/4" copper tubing or FDA-approved plastic water line.

  1. Turn off main water supply.
  2. Connect water line to cold water pipe using a saddle valve or tee fitting.
  3. Route the line to the refrigerator connection point at the bottom rear.
  4. Connect to the refrigerator inlet valve and tighten.
  5. Turn on water supply and check for leaks.
  6. Flush the line by dispensing water for 3 minutes.

Tip: Use the included plastic tubing clamp to secure the line and prevent kinks.

Using the Dispenser

Dispenses chilled water, cubed ice, or crushed ice.

  1. Select Ice Type: Press the ICE TYPE button to choose cubed or crushed.
  2. Dispense Water: Press a glass against the water paddle.
  3. Dispense Ice: Press a glass against the ice paddle.
  4. Child Lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to disable dispenser paddles.
  5. To Remove Ice Bucket: Open freezer drawer, lift bucket up and pull out.

WARNING! Do not use a thin or narrow glass. Dispense ice into a sturdy container. Keep children away from dispenser.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior. Use mild detergent and warm water; avoid abrasive cleaners.

Exterior: Wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water or stainless steel cleaner. Interior: Remove shelves and bins, wash with warm soapy water. Dispenser: Wipe with a damp cloth. Condenser Coils: Vacuum every 6 months (located at bottom rear).

CAUTION! Do not use harsh chemicals, ammonia, or wax on surfaces. Do not spray water directly on the refrigerator.
