Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Remove all packaging materials and tape.

Choose Location: Place on a level, solid floor near a water line and grounded electrical outlet.
Connect Water Line: Connect 1/4" copper tubing or LG-approved water line kit to cold water supply.
Level the Refrigerator: Adjust the front leveling legs to ensure doors close properly.
Plug into Grounded Outlet: Use a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15A outlet.
Allow Stabilization: Let refrigerator stand upright for 2 hours before powering on.

WARNING! Do not install near heat sources. Ensure proper ventilation (2" clearance at back and sides).

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on the refrigerator and configure initial settings.

Set Temperature: Press TEMP buttons to set refrigerator (37°F recommended) and freezer (0°F recommended).

Controls and Settings

Using the InstaView™ Door

The InstaView™ Door-in-Door® provides quick access to frequently used items.

Activation: Knock twice on the glass panel within 2 seconds. Interior LED lights for 10 seconds.
Access: Press the Door-in-Door® handle to open just the smaller compartment.
Storage: Use for beverages, snacks, condiments. Adjustable bins hold gallon containers.
Light Settings: Adjust brightness or turn off via control panel or app.

Tip: Keep the glass panel clean for clear visibility. Do not knock with sharp objects.

Ice & Water Dispenser

Dispenses filtered water and three types of ice through the external panel.

Select Ice Type: Press ICE TYPE to cycle through Craft Ice (spherical), Crushed, or Cubed.
Dispense Ice: Place cup against dispenser paddle. Press firmly for ice, lightly for water.
Craft Ice™: Automatically produces 8-10 spheres per day in the dedicated bin.
Replace Water Filter: When FILTER indicator lights, replace LT1000P filter (every 6 months).
Dispenser Lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to prevent accidental activation.

WARNING! Use only potable water supply. Do not use with softened water.

SmartThinQ® Features

Connect to Wi-Fi for remote monitoring and control via smartphone.

Care & Cleaning

CAUTION! Do not use sharp tools to remove ice. Never use hot water on frozen surfaces.
