Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location and leveling.

  1. Choose location: Place on a level floor near a grounded electrical outlet, away from heat sources.
  2. Level the refrigerator: Adjust the leveling legs at the front to ensure doors close properly.
  3. Connect water line (for ice maker): Use a 1/4" copper water line and shut-off valve.
  4. Plug into a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15-amp grounded outlet.
  5. Allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool before adding food.

WARNING! Do not install near an oven or other heat source. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.

First-Time Setup

After installation, follow these steps to set up your refrigerator.

  1. Set temperature: Use the control panel to set refrigerator to 37°F (3°C) and freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
  2. Activate ice maker: Lift the wire signal arm to the ON (up) position.
  3. Configure door swing: If needed, reverse the doors using the included hardware and instructions.
  4. Adjust shelves and bins: Arrange interior components to suit your storage needs.

CAUTION! Do not overload shelves. Allow space between items for proper air circulation.

Ice Maker Control: Wire signal arm (ON/OFF).

Door Alarm: Sounds if door is left open for more than 3 minutes. Can be disabled via control panel.

Power Cool: Rapidly cools the refrigerator compartment (use for initial cool-down or after adding groceries).

Connecting Water Line (Ice Maker)

For ice maker operation, a water line connection is required.

  1. Turn off main water supply.
  2. Connect a 1/4" copper water line to a cold water pipe with a shut-off valve.
  3. Route the water line to the refrigerator connection at the back.
  4. Connect the water line to the refrigerator inlet valve.
  5. Turn on water supply and check for leaks.
  6. Flush the line by dispensing water into a container for 3 minutes.

Tip: Use an approved water line kit. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.

Using the Refrigerator

Optimize performance and food preservation.

  1. Storage: Place dairy and meats on upper shelves (coldest), vegetables in crispers.
  2. Freezer: Store frozen foods in airtight packaging. Do not overload.
  3. Ice Maker: Ice production begins 24 hours after water connection. Empty ice bin as needed.
  4. Door Bins: Use for frequently accessed items like condiments and beverages.
  5. Shelves: Adjust height to accommodate tall items. Glass shelves are removable for cleaning.

WARNING! Do not block air vents inside the refrigerator. Keep food wrapped to prevent odor transfer.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use mild detergent and warm water; avoid abrasive cleaners.

  1. Interior: Clean shelves, bins, and interior surfaces monthly.
  2. Exterior: Wipe with a soft cloth and stainless steel cleaner (if applicable).
  3. Condenser Coils: Vacuum coils at the back or bottom every 6 months for efficiency.
  4. Door Seals: Clean with soapy water to ensure proper seal.

CAUTION! Do not use sharp objects to remove ice. Never use boiling water on glass shelves.
