Installation

5. Detergent: Use only dishwasher pods, gel, or powder in the main dispenser. Do not place pods in the utensil rack.
6. Rinse Aid: Essential for spot-free drying. Refill when indicator light comes on.

Tip: Load items so water spray can reach all surfaces. Avoid blocking the spray arms or detergent dispenser.

Cycle Selection and Operation

Select a cycle based on soil level and load type.

1. Power On: Press POWER or open and close the door.
2. Select Cycle: Press CYCLE button repeatedly to scroll through options (Normal, Heavy, TurboSpeed™, etc.).
3. Add Options: Press OPTIONS to add features like Hi-Temp Wash, Extra Dry, or Delay Start (1-24 hours).
4. Load Detergent: Ensure main detergent dispenser is filled and closed.
5. Start: Close door firmly and press START/PAUSE. The display will show cycle time remaining.
6. During Cycle: You can pause by pressing START/PAUSE to add a forgotten item.
7. Cycle End: An audible tone will sound. The door can be opened after a brief cool-down period.

WARNING! The water inside is hot. Do not open the door immediately after a cycle ends, especially if Sani Rinse was used.

Smart Features & Connectivity

SmartThinQ® enables remote control and diagnostics.

1. Download the LG SmartThinQ app on your smartphone.
2. Connect the dishwasher to your home Wi-Fi network through the app.
3. Remotely: Start/stop cycles, select settings, monitor cycle progress, receive end-of-cycle notifications.
4. Diagnostics: The app can run diagnostics and provide troubleshooting steps.
