Cycle Details: Each cycle has a default time and temperature. Options can modify the cycle. The display shows remaining time and status icons (e.g., for Sani Rinse, Delay).

Settings Menu: Press and hold certain buttons to access settings like Rinse Aid Level, Tone Volume, or to reset the filter indicator.

Loading and Racks

Proper loading ensures optimal cleaning.

  1. Scrape off large food particles; pre-rinsing is generally not required.
  2. Lower Rack: For plates, pots, pans, and large items. Adjustable tines for flexibility.
  3. Upper Rack (EasyRack™ Plus): For cups, glasses, bowls, and small plates. Can be folded down for taller items.

Cycle Selection and Operation

Select a cycle based on soil level and load type.

  1. Power On: Press POWER or open and close the door.
  2. Select Cycle: Press CYCLE button repeatedly to scroll through options (Normal, Heavy, TurboSpeed™, etc.).
  3. Add Options: Press OPTIONS to add features like Hi-Temp Wash, Extra Dry, or Delay Start (1-24 hours).
  4. Load Detergent: Ensure main detergent dispenser is filled and closed.
  5. Start: Close door firmly and press START/PAUSE. The display will show cycle time remaining.
  6. During Cycle: You can pause by pressing START/PAUSE to add a forgotten item.
  7. Cycle End: An audible tone will sound. The door can be opened after a brief cool-down period.

WARNING! The water inside is hot. Do not open the door immediately after a cycle ends, especially if Sani Rinse was used.

SmartThinQ® enables remote control and diagnostics.

  1. Download the LG SmartThinQ app on your smartphone.
  2. Connect the dishwasher to your home Wi-Fi network through the app.
